Why Gujarat?
 

Gujarat state is situated in the western part of India and also known as Jewel of the Western part of India. It has an area of 196204 km2 with a coastline of 1600 km, most of which lies on the Kathiawad peninsula, and a population in excess of 60 million. The state is bordered by Rajasthan to the north, Maharashtra to the south, Madhya Pradesh to the east and the Arebian Sea as well as the Pakistan province of Sindh to the west. Its capital city is Gandhinagar, while its largest city is Ahmedabad. Gujarat is home to the Gujarati-speaking people of India.
 

Historically, one of the main centre of the Indus Valley Civilization has been the state of the Gujarat. From the Indus Valley it contains major ancient metropolitan cities such as Lothal, Dholavira and GolaDhoro. The ancient city, is one of the largest and most prominent archaeological sites in India, belonging to the Indus Valley Civilization. The most recent discovery was GolaDhoro. Altogether about 50 Indus Valley settlement ruins have been discovered in Gujarat.
 

By the Commercial activities, the ancient history of the Gujarat was enriched. There is a clear historical evidence of trade and commerce this with Egypt, Brahmin and Sunar in the Persian Gulf during the time period of 1000 to 750 BC. There was a succession of Hindu and Buddhist state such as the western Satraps, Satavahanadynsasty, Gupta Empire, Chalukya dynasty, Rashtrakuta Empire, Pala Empire and GurjaraPratihara Empire as well as local dynasties such as the Maitrakas and then the Solankis.

Strategically located on the West Coast of India, Gujarat is also a Gateway to the rich land-locked Northern and Center Vicinity of the country. Gujarat spearheads the Indian march for the “Global Economic Super Power” status with access to all Major Port based Countries like UK, Australia, China, Japan, Korea and Gulf Countries, etc.

Organizing women’s self-help groups for economic activities and resolution of cases through Nari Adalats.

 Knowledge is Power in Gujarat - Synergizing Excellence and Innovative thoughts with talent and technology. Here wisdom sets its pace to achieve goals with an inspiring force .

Emphasis on educational infrastructure, training of teachers and computersation of schools.
Introducing new courses to meet the demands of time.
Emphasis on total enrollment and maximum retention of children in the schools.
Emphasis on girl child education.
Campaigns in the villages with the mission of universal education.
Creating special funds for girl child education and insurance schemes for the students.
Donating gifts received by him for girl child education (Worth more than 3.00 crores).
11 new universities, 400 new colleges, 1.25 lakh new teachers, 38,000 new schoolrooms and doubling the seats for technical courses.
And a massive reduction in the drop out rate at all primary levels.

Creation of 2.25 lakh new water bodies by constructing check-dams and farm ponds.
